A single moment in time is captured when a picture is taken. That moment is gone, and yet it is not lost, for it stands still forever with one click of the shutter. A piece of life is frozen, a magical memory caught, before it disappears. After a day taking photographs, I love to download and discover these moments in time, often more striking and enthralling than the images I remember seeing through the lens of my camera.
Travel is the foundation of my creative process. As well as experiencing the diverse and stunning corners of Canada and the US, I’ve ventured to many incredible parts of the world, from India and Nepal, to Bhutan and the Philippines. Each unique location brings with it new wonders to photograph. Natural landscapes, colourful cultures, and the intricacies of local people, are all beautiful to me. I would like to thank all the people I have photographed around the world, as many will never see themselves captured in true splendor.
